Resolved Question: Where to stay in San Francisco?

My fiance and I are planning a trip to the west coast this summer. Our flight lands in San Fran. and I was wondering what hotels you would recommend for us? It is for our honey moon and we will stay two nights in SF then down the coast. I would like our first two nights to be at a nice place but not too $$. Around $200/night for those nights is OK. Any other CA travel tips you have would be appreciated as well. We will go to Sonoma and Napa to see wineries and down the coastal highway to Carmel, Big Sur and Santa Barbara.
